Well, it’s been two weeks since I promised a mid-week update. Obviously, that has not happened. But there is a reason; and the reason is that there’s been a whole lot of learnin’ and growth going on.
I am looking forward to going into things (At least part of things!) in much more in depth in the coming weeks. But for now, I leave you with three important lessons I have learned.
1. I’ve learned that I am no longer a mid-west kinda girl. After a week in Nebraska, I feel fully qualified to tell you that it is FREEZING. I cannot believe that I not only spent 15 winters in Nebraska; but, I lived to tell about it.
Truly, there is not enough long-underwear in the world to keep my poor southern body from shivering, quaking, and forming little snot-cicles every time I venture outdoors. I’ve had a wonderful vacation! Thanks for asking!
2. I have learned that the phrase “getting buff” has more than one meaning and jumping to conclusions about the context of said phrase can prove to be HIGHLY embarrassing. `Nuff said.
3. God’s providence, His love, and His grace go so far beyond amazing; but, for lack of better term, I will just say that I am the child of an amazing God.
Have a good week.
